Disney World Kyber Crystals Sold Behind the Counter at Dok-Ondar’s

Dok-Ondar is an incredibly influential figure on Batuu, but even he is not immune to the changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping Black Spire Outpost (and the rest of the Earth system). His Den of Antiquities has implemented a few changes in the name of safety. One of the biggest changes involves the kyber crystals. From now on, Disney World kyber crystals are now sold behind the counter.

Limited Merchandise Handling

In general, the goal at Galaxy’s Edge and all of the Disney Parks is to minimize merchandise handling. Everything you touch increases everyone’s likelihood of spreading the virus. When shopping on Batuu, it is important you only touch something when necessary. This is especially the case for a high-demand item like kyber crystals.

Purchasing Disney World Kyber Crystals

To purchase a Disney World kyber crystal, all you need to do is ask a cast member behind the lightsaber display counter. Tell them what color you’d like and you’ll be all set. If you’re an annual passholder, you’ll receive the standard merchandise discount (currently 30% through August 30th) as well. A single Disney World kyber crystal costs $11.18 after tax and an AP discount.

Prior to the COVID-19 shutdown, there was a purchase limit of two crystals per color per person. A cast member confirmed today that the limit is still in effect. Those hoping to take advantage of the 30% off discount or find the elusive black crystal will have to be patient and trust in the Force that they hear their crystal calling to them.
