Lightning Strike at Galaxy’s Edge Takes Down Rise of the Resistance

Rise of the Resistance is experiencing issues due to a lightning strike. Florida isn’t known as the lightning capital of the world for nothing. Yesterday a massive lightning strike at Galaxy’s Edge took down the Rise of the Resistance attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the ride has not been up since.

Rise of the Resistance has seen its share of operating issues since the attraction opened but this takes it to another level. Disney is reportedly having a tough time bringing the ride systems back up. 

Boarding groups were distributed today but Cast Members have no idea if or when the ride will be back up and running.
