Next month, a new Fall tradition of waking up to a new episode of The Mandalorian returns. This year, a second tradition begins as Lucasfilm announced #MandoMondays today. But what is #MandoMondays?

Beginning October 26th, ahead of the season 2 premiere on October 30th, Mando Mondays is a weekly celebration of the latest episode of The Mandalorian. New products, be it toys, apparel, or books and comics, we’ll be announced each Monday following a new episode. This helps fans avoid spoilers brought on by merchandise reveals as happens all too often. Those spoilers are exactly why The Child (Baby Yoda) merchandise was held back until after their reveal in season 1.

#MandoMondays is effectively Force Friday converted into a weekly event. The previous event, tied to the launch of new film merchandise, saw massive drops of new products. Now these drops are spread out during the holiday shopping season. This gives Star Wars fans and collectors a chance to plan and budget a bit more. Not that it will help much as the teasers unveiled today all look incredible.

The first batch of products will be available for pre-order at various retailers beginning at 4 pm Eastern TODAY. The highlights include new Black Series figures and Funko POP! figures.

Future release info will be posted to MandoMondays.com, but we’ll also post the information as it becomes available. It truly is a great time to be a Star Wars fan and collector!
