New Legacy Lightsabers Coming To Galaxy’s Edge
As part of Disney’s big announcement this morning that Galaxy’s Edge merchandise is coming to shopDisney, it was announced that new legacy lightsabers are coming to Galaxy’s Edge. The Disney Parks Blog is running a poll through October 1st to gauge fan interest in which lightsabers should be the next to arrive at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
Legacy Lightsabers from Several Eras
The lightsabers offered up as options span several eras of Star Wars, but most have ties back to the Clone Wars and prequel trilogy. In the featured image you can see all six:
- Anakin Skywalker (Attack of the Clones version)
- Qui-Gon Jinn
- Ezra Bridger (2nd version)
- Kanan Jarrus
- Cal Kestis (Jaro Tapal version)
- Lord Corvax
Pricing for these legacy lightsabers has not been unveiled, as it’s likely dependent on which sabers are officially selected. Disney has not yet said how many will be selected, or even if the artwork shown is the final product or merely concept art.
Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsabers Still Coming
Also coming soon to Galaxy’s Edge is a new version of Ahsoka Tano’s lightsabers, this time the Clone Wars version last seen in the series finale of The Clone Wars. Originally announced on Instagram by Ahsoka voice actor Ashley Eckstein, the Clone Wars hilts feature a color change option so that you can have Ahsoka’s blades display either as her original green or the updated blue from Season 7.
No official date or pricing was given for the new Ahsoka legacy lightsabers, but we were given a generic “this Fall” timeframe.
