Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Trailer Released

Facebook, the company behind Oculus, unveiled a new Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge trailer today at Facebook Connect. The upcoming VR game, exclusive to the Oculus platform (for now) is coming out this holiday season.

C-3PO Returns

The big reveal of the trailer is that C-3PO is back on a mission with R2-D2. An attack on their ship puts them on Batuu and in need of your help. Anthony Daniels appears to be reprising his decades-spanning role, but that has not been officially confirmed by the trailer.

The trailer also gives us a better look at Mubo, the proprietor of Droid Depot. Given that Threepio and R2 are the primary guides in this new adventure, connecting to the land’s droid shop makes perfect sense. Hopefully more characters like Oga will make appearances as well.
