Picture Walk: Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of our favorite stops at the park. Tatooine Traders always has the latest in Star Wars merchandise and even carries some of Galaxy’s Edge merchandise. On our last trip, we stopped by Tatooine Traders to check out the latest merchandise since the reopening.
Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios carries a variety of Star Wars merchandise everything from the original trilogy, the prequels, the sequels, the Clone Wars, and the Mandalorian. Guests can find t-shirts, toys, hoodies, and hats that feature some of their favorite characters and scenes from the movies and TV shows.
Tatooine Traders even carries the 40th Anniversary of Empire Strikes Back merchandise which includes t-shirts, tank tops, leggings, and even a skirt.
Guests can find a variety of plushies and character-inspired backpacks at Tatooine Traders. The store even sells some of the character dolls from Galaxy’s Edge that are sold at the Toydarian Toymaker.
Tatooine Traders even carries all of the Galaxy’s Edge Black Series figure sets. Guests can choose from the droids, the Resistance, and the First Order sets.
Pin Trading is always fun and Tatooine Traders has a variety of Star Wars themed pins including some of the Galaxy’s Edge exclusive and limited editions.
What trip to Disney World would be complete without Mickey Mouse ears. Tatooine Traders features Mickey ears inspired by some of your favorite Star Wars characters. Guests can purchase ear hats looks inspired by R2-D2, Chewbacca, Yoda, and BB-8.
Tatooine Traders has a lot of toys featuring your child’s favorite characters. Kids will love the variety of toys to choose from. Guests can buy an interactive Yoda, plastic figures, models of some of the ships, and plastic lightsabers.
Custom Plastic Lightsabers
Tatooine Traders also offers guests the chance to build a custom plastic lightsaber inspired by their favorite Star Wars characters. Before the COVID-19 shutdown guests could touch all the pieces and play around with the designs but since the reopening Disney does not want guests touching things unnecessarily.
Cast members now help out with the process. Guests tell the Cast Member which pieces they want and the Cast Member hands them to you. Once all the pieces are in the guest’s hands they can assemble the pieces and make their purchase. Cast Members make sure the pieces are sanitized so that everyone is safe.
Social Distancing at Tatooine Traders
Disney has also placed health and safety signs in the store along with hand sanitizer stations to remind guests to follow social distancing rules, and wash their hands frequently.
Plexiglass has been installed at the cash register and numbered social distancing markers have been placed on the ground in front of the registers.
