Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a unique quick-service dining experience at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In true Disney style, no detail is spared. The theme of the entire restaurant is a cargo dock where much-needed supplies from all over the galaxy are shipped to Batuu.

Docking Bay 7 is located right across from the Millennium Falcon at Smugglers Run. If you are coming from the Market it is just past Dok-Ondar’s Den or Antiquities on the left. If you are coming from Oga’s Cantina it is just past the Millennium Falcon, up the stairs and to the right.

The inside of the restaurant is true to the theme. It looks very much like a cargo shipping hub. There are tons of random containers on shelves on the walls, larger containers on display on the floor as you enter, and even some shipping containers that you and your family can sit in as you dine. Overhead is a large shipping container featuring the number 80, which is the year that The Empire Strikes Back was released.

After you order your food, unlike any other Disney quick-service restaurant you are unable to see the kitchen area. Behind the counter is a wall and a conveyor belt. When your food is ready it arrives on the conveyor belt and a Cast Member gives it to you. We sat at a cute two-top table with seats that were shaped like shipping containers that resembled oil barrels.

The Atmosphere
