Disney Updates Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue Process

Beginning November 3rd, guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort will have a somewhat less stressful time getting into the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance. As announced by the Disney Parks Blog, guests with park pass reservations will be able to enter the virtual queue at 7 am, regardless of their location.

Not required to enter the park

Prior to this announcement, guests were required to be physically in the park to get a boarding group. This is no longer the case. This significantly reduces the stress of having to get to Studios and in the park by 10 am, especially when the park opens at 10 am. Because park pass reservations are still required, it doesn’t alter your chances of getting a boarding pass.

The 2 pm boarding group distribution will still occur, if available that day so if you miss out on the initial process you won’t have to worry about missing for the entire day.
