FastPass Availability Resumes After COVID-19

With the state of Florida beginning to reopen starting May 4th, Disney Parks fans have been anxiously awaiting news as to when they’ll be able to return to the happiest place on Earth. Personally, we’re counting down the days until we’re back on Batuu, and signs are pointing towards that being sooner than expected. FastPass reservations at Walt Disney World Resort have reopened in the My Disney Experience app and on DisneyWorld.com!

Limited Availability

As of this writing, FastPass availability is limited to June 2nd and restricted to active annual passholders. If your pass expired but was due to be extended due to COVID-19, you do not have access yet. Annual passholders can make reservations up to 30 days in advance, so this date will theoretically extend every day. Other sources are reporting that you must have an active annual pass and a hotel reservation to go beyond the 30-day window, which extends to 60 days prior to your reservation.

Major attractions like Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run have already been gobbled up, but Star Tours was still available at publication time.

No official announcement of additional FastPass availability post COVID-19 has been announced at this time. Disney has yet to announce an official opening date for the parks, so these FastPasses may yet be cancelled. Still, better to grab them while you can!
