Galaxy’s Edge LEGO Set Rumored (Photos)
Exciting news for LEGO fans! LEGO is rumored to be creating a Galaxy’s Edge LEGO set. Usually, we try to stay away from reporting on rumors but multiple reputable sources have posted about the possibility of this set. We do not have a release date and we do not know if it will be a Galaxy’s Edge exclusive.
Here’s What We Do Know
According to our research, the set number is 75293. The set is a Resistance I-TS transport vehicle featuring four Minifigures. The I-TS is the vehicle that is used on the Galaxy’s Edge attraction Rise of the Resistance. The Minifigures included are Vi Moradi, Lieutenant Bek, an Astromech droid modeled after R-5, and a GNK droid. The GNK droid appears to be brick-built.
Sources of Information
MandRProductions YouTube channel reports that if a set is rumored and likely to happen a set number is usually attached. In the case of this set, we have a set number. We also looked at another source who previously leaked photos of set number 75281 Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor. This source @nino_leaks on Instagram leaked photos of the rumored Galaxy’s Edge LEGO set.
MandR is a well-respected LEGO Star Wars YouTuber, not just some random guy on Reddit. In a video posted in late April of this year, he specifically mentioned the Anakin’s Interceptor set, and that it would be yellow. @nino_leaks_ photos essentially confirm that rumor.
@nino_leaks_ photos also appear to come from an official LEGO catalog from the Asian market. His leaks today also included photos of advent calendar sets which usually begin showing up in stores in late Summer/early Fall.
Still Just a Rumor
While this remains just a rumor, the photos are incredibly convincing. The presence of a set number is key and makes it very likely we’ll be getting an official Galaxy’s Edge LEGO set in the near future. We’ll be sure to update things once an official announcement is made.
