Hot Topic Her Universe The Mandalorian Collection Unveiled
A new The Mandalorian season means new merch! Unlike last season’s limited initial rollout due to the secrecy surrounding The Child (Baby Yoda), this season is seeing all kinds of merchandise announced prior to the season premiere. Ashley Eckstein’s Her Universe is no exception. the new Hot Topic-exclusive Her Universe The Mandalorian collection is now available and there are some really fun pieces!
The Child Hoodie
Baby Yoda has been a pop culture icon since their debut last year, and now you can get your very own The Child Hoodie. Featuring Baby Yoda’s trademark ears on a mint hood, you can get all cozy in your hoodie while you watch each episode on Fridays. My favorite detail is the frog sticking out of the front pocket. Baby Yoda needs their snacks!
Sizes range from XS to 3X. The hoodie retails for $49.90, but is currently on sale for $39.92 (20% off) on the Hot Topic website. A plus-size option is also available for $54.90 (currently $43.92) in sizes 0 to 5.
Bounty Hunter Skater Dress
Hot Topic and Her Universe have done a lot of character skater dresses in the past, but this one is one of my favorites. The details of Din Djarin’s season 1 armor are fantastic, with damage visible and multiple colors showing the wear and tear. The belt design is a nice touch as well. The only downside is the belt graphic doesn’t wrap completely around the dress, instead of cutting off half-way around.
Sizes range from XS to 3X for the standard version and 0 – 5 for the plus size version. The standard sizes go for $30.32 (normally $37.90) while the plus size version is currently $34.32 ($42.90 normally).
The Child Corduroy Skirtall
Overalls have been making a comeback thanks to a resurgence of 90s fashion, and Baby Yoda is not one to skip out on a trend. This grey, corduroy skirtall expands the trend from standard overalls to a skirt without sacrificing pockets. The real highlight is an embroidered The Child sitting in their pod on the front pocket.
Sizes again range from XS to 3X (standard) and 0 to 5 (plus size). The standard sizes are currently $39.92 ($49.90) and the plus sizes are $43.92 ($54.90).
The Child T-Shirt Dress
Rounding out the collection is a green tie-dyed shirt dress featuring Baby Yoda art. More than just an oversized t-shirt, this shirt dress has pockets! The graphic is also intentionally distressed to give the whole look an aged feel, matching the aesthetic of the show.
As usual, sizes range from XS to 3X (standard) and 0 to 5 (plus size), but these are juniors sizes according to the product description. The standard sizes are currently $26.32 ($32.90 normally) with plus sizes going for $30.32 ($37.90 normal price).
