How to get notified when The Mandalorian goes live

One of the biggest questions surround the premiere of The Mandalorian on Disney+ on November 12th is when does the episode (and the service for that matter) go live on day one? Based on the countdown clock on the Disney+ website, that would be 6 am Eastern. The countdown clock on StarWars.com indicates that the show itself will go live at 9 am Eastern, giving people time to set up their apps on their devices. But what about the remaining episodes, which will be released weekly? Disney has set up a service to solve this problem. If you’re a Twitter user that is.

Sign Up to be Notified

This afternoon, the official The Mandalorian Twitter shared the following:

The message reads: “Bounty hunting is a complicated profession. [Like] this Tweet to receive a transmission when each new chapter of #TheMandalorian becomes available on Disney+.”

Naturally, we “liked” the tweet, to see what would happen. A few minutes later, we received a tweet back from The Mandalorian official account:

It reads: “@EotGBlog Yeah? Good. You will now receive weekly updates when each new chapter of #TheMandalorian becomes available on Disney+, starting Nov. 12. Reply #stop to unsubscribe”

So if you’re a Twitter user, it’s pretty simple. You’ll receive a tweet every time an episode goes live on Disney+. The service is a pretty innovative use of Twitter, and a great way to generate more engagement with fans.

Sign Up for Disney+

Have you signed up for Disney+ yet? If not, you still have time. Disney is offering a free 7-day trial, with the option to then pay either $6.99 per month or $69.99 for the year. The year option saves you $13.98. Verizon is also offering Disney+ to its customers for free for the first year.

We’ll have more coverage of The Mandalorian all week long, leading up to the premiere on Tuesday, November 12th!
