As first reported by IGN, the LEGO Razor Crest will be an unlockable ship in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga video game. The trick is you’ll have to buy the real set first.

Unlock the LEGO Razor Crest in-game

The LEGO Razor Crest set was announced a while back, and is currently available for pre-order on LEGO.com. When the box art was recently unveiled, eagle-eyed fans noticed a label on the back of the box indicating the package included a secret code to unlock the set in the game. Thanks to IGN, we have more information on what exactly that means.

In order to play with the ship in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, you must purchase the set. It will not be available as DLC. According to the article, this is a new trend that will continue with other sets moving forward.

The ship itself will be unlocked, but not the minifigures. The LEGO Razor Crest set includes 5 minifigures: The Mandalorian (Din Djarin), The Child (Baby Yoda), Greef Carga, IG-11, and a Scout Trooper. I certainly expect all five figures to be playable in some way in the game, along with Cara Dune as she has already been immortalized in LEGO form in the AT-ST Raider set. Whether or not they are sold as DLC or just unlockable is not known at this time.

LEGO Razor Crest Coming In 2020

Both the set and the new game are scheduled to release later this year. The set has a date of September 1st, and will be an Amazon exclusive outside of LEGO.com and official LEGO stores. Amazon does not currently have the set available for preorder. Only the AT-ST Raider and the Battle Pack are currently on sale.

You can preorder the game for all three consoles. The release date is currently listed as December 31st, but that is a placeholder. No official release date is available for the game, but it is expected to be available during the holiday shopping season.
