Comics Corner: 9/9/2020
It’s only natural that we start off a new weekly feature on an extremely slow week for Star Wars comics publishing. No new issues are releasing this week from either Marvel or all-ages publisher IDW, but we do still have two releases.
NOTE: Every week, we’ll bring you all the Star Wars comics that are releasing to stores. We’ll cover single issues and collected editions, along with any specialty items available only in comic book stores.
Darth Vader (2020) #3, 2nd Printing

Originally published at the end of July, this third issue of Greg Pak’s initial arc on the Darth Vader series, Vader visits Naboo searching for more information on who and how the existence of his son Luke was kept from him. This second printing features a new cover by In-Hyuk Lee.

This hardcover releases early to the direct market (comic shops), with wide release (book stores, Amazon, etc.) on September 22nd. Two trade paperbacks covering the Age of Resistance heroes and villains are already available. Unless you specifically collect hardcovers, I recommend picking up the two paperbacks as you’ll save money depending on where you make your purchase.
